Ben Hamlett
Senior Swimming Instructor
I'm the longest serving teacher and possibly the most experienced teacher apart from the boss!
I'm an ex-competition swimmer which I believe always helps with the children's progression. Which is ultimately what you expect to see when you pay good money.
You can usually tell a teacher who has been a good swimmer...it can be glaringly obvious!
My methods are slightly unorthodox but are extremely effective over time. If I can teach 3 of the 4 strokes , the basics of Butterfly and all the water skills then I would be happy as I'm sure most parents would. The kids love me as I get down on their level and try to have a laugh with them, which means they are more receptive to me and in turn they try harder.
See you all around the pool soon, Ben
