Manchester searches for swimming lessons often land here because Swims Away serves Greater Manchester families broadly. For the general public, lessons run at our named pools in Bolton and Chorley. We also teach at two Manchester residential developments, but those sessions are strictly for residents of those buildings and are not open city-centre public classes.

Manchester-area families travel to St Catherine's Academy for children's stages, nursery, adults and advanced options, to Health Hub Sharples for adult lessons, and to Ecclestone Pool for nursery focus with drop-off and pick-up. Residents of Deansgate Square The Towers or Crown Street can enquire about in-building lessons if they live there. Non-residents should use the public pool venues only.

Local notes
Getting to lessons from Manchester
Central Manchester does not currently have a Swims Away public teaching pool open to everyone. Commuting to Bolton for evening or Saturday lessons is common for city families who want our programme. If you live at Deansgate Square or Crown Street, use the residents venue pages to enquire; if you do not, please treat those locations as closed to outside booking. This distinction keeps eligibility fair and stops the site from implying a general Manchester public pool that we do not operate.
